Summary Release
If the decedent dies a resident of Greene County (or owning real estate in Greene County) and had minimal assets that need to be administered in Probate Court, then it is possible the estate qualifies for a Summary Release from Administration proceeding, instead of a full estate administration. Please review the checklist below to determine whether or not your estate qualifies for a Summary Release from Administration.
