Building Regulation

The Greene County Department of Building Regulation offices are NOW OPEN to the public, however, if not vaccinated, masks are required for the health and safety of our staff and community.

As a healthy and safe option, a green drop box has been installed next to our office door.  Plans, permit applications, plan review responses and plan revisions may be dropped off Monday thru Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The box will be emptied at the end of each business day.  During inclement weather, we recommend you put your plans in a bag of some type.
Our office is open and staff is available during office hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.   Emails can be received at _bldgregspermits@co.greene.oh.us.

Another healthy and safe option is Virtual inspections.  Virtual inspections shall be conducted using the Face Time App through Apple products, i.e. I-Phone or I-Pad or with Android products by downloading the  Google Duo App.

The inspectors have the right to cancel or reschedule the inspection request if not appropriate.

Inspection times and results will be provided via email.

Thank you!                     Be Safe!              Stay Healthy!
