The Board of Greene County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 35 Greene Street, Xenia, OH 45385 to take public comment on the Greene County Master Trails Plan. The Regional Planning and Coordinating Commission of Greene County (RPCC) voted to adopt the Plan and to recommend the Plan to the Board of Greene County Commissioners for adoption.
The Regional Planning and Coordinating Commission of Greene County (RPCC) and Greene County Parks and Trails collaborated on a Master Trails Plan (MTP) for Greene County. The MTP will focuses on active transportation issues including a vision for bike and pedestrian pathways to improve safety, connectivity, and economic vibrancy.
Greene County Trails include: Creekside, Little Miami Scenic, Ohio to Erie, Wright Brothers-Huffman Prairie, and Xenia - Jamestown Connector trails.
This plan has been adopted by the Regional Planning & Coordinating Commission of Greene County and the Greene County Parks District Commission.
