Master Trails Plan

This year the Regional Planning and Coordinating Commission of Greene County (RPCC) and Greene County Parks and Trails are collaborating on a Master Trails Plan (MTP) for Greene County. The MTP will focus on active transportation issues including a vision for bike and pedestrian pathways to improve safety, connectivity, and economic vibrancy.

Greene County Trails include: Creekside, Little Miami Scenic, Ohio to Erie, Wright Brothers-Huffman Prairie, and Xenia - Jamestown Connector trails.

Project Timeline Final Recommendations (PNG)

Right now, we are reviewing feedback from the most recent proposed trail network survey.

The draft network includes shared use paths and sidepaths (trails), on-street bicycle facilities, and suggested improvements for some intersections.

Public input, an existing conditions analysis, and input from related planning efforts were used to develop this draft network. Below is the map and corresponding chart of draft network recommendations from the last survey.
Check back in November to see the final recommendations.
