[ARCHIVED] Alan G. Anderson’s term with the Greene County Board of Commissioners ended on December 31, 2018

Alan G. Anderson’s term with the Greene County Board of Commissioners ended on December 31, 2018, following 12 years of faithful service to the residents of Greene County.

Alan first took office as a Commissioner in January 1, 2007 and was re-elected for two additional terms.  He served with fellow Commissioners Ralph Harper, Rick Perales, Marilyn Reid, Bob Glaser and Tom Koogler.

During his time in office, Alan served on numerous boards as the Board of Commissioners’ representative: Data Processing, Workforce Policy, MVRPC, Microfilm, Resource Conservation and Development, Local Corrections Planning, and MCGLERC, as well as alternate to Data Processing, Microfilm, DDC, and CCAO.

While Alan focused on the greater good for the County, there were several areas that received a little more attention such as Workforce Development/Labor and Education, Chautauqua, Farm Bureau, and all aspect of higher education. 

 Alan has contributed his time and energy to the County making it a great place to live, work and play.
