June 17, 2020: Greene County and the City of Fairborn, in conjunction with the Ohio Public Works Commission, is rehabilitating the Dayton-Yellow Springs Road bridge in Fairborn between Commerce Center Blvd. and Gateway Drive. Phase 2 has begun and vehicular traffic will switch from the outside lanes to the inside lanes. Vehicular traffic will continue to be maintained for the duration of the project, but is reduced to one lane each direction. During this phase, the sidewalks will have to be temporarily closed between Gateway Dr. and Commerce Center Blvd. For those walking to and from work or the grocery store, we encourage you to seek alternative transportation such as using Greene CATS Public Transit.
