If you are a pro se litigant seeking a CPO, schedule an appointment with the Court's Domestic Violence Coordinator by calling (937) 562-6236. The appointment will last approximately 2 hours and you must attend a hearing that same day.
To expedite your appointment, visit the Domestic Violence & Stalking page. Print off the applicable paperwork, complete the paperwork in its entirety, and bring it with you to your appointment. Be sure to bring a photo ID to you appointment as well.
If the full hearing has already been held and a permanent CPO has been issued, you must file a Motion to Dismiss. You may file a Motion to Dismiss by contacting the attorney of your choice or you may file pro-se. Contact the Domestic Violence Coordinator at (937) 562-6236 for further details.
The Motion to Dismiss will be set for hearing on the Judge or Magistrate's docket, and the Petitioner must attend. If the Judge or Magistrate issues a decision of dismissal and no one objects within fourteen (14) days, the Entry will be filed with the Clerk of Courts.
